Isn't it possible to make a split menu?

I almost succeeded but it shows all sub menu items on all pages. Not just the ones belonging to a particular parent.

had to put it online first
the menu is like this:
Forside (home)
- Forside test
Artikler (articles)
- D.F.D.S.....
- Test
- Radiojulehilsner til Danmark
Kontakt (contact)


When I pres "forside" only "forside test" should appear and for "artikler" only "d.f.d.s..." and "radio..." should appear on the left.

It is because I want the top menu item to stay active when clicking on the sub menu items

Set "Show only active sub-menus" parameter to "Yes" for "left" menu.
