I am using joomla 3.3 to build a new site. I would say I am a novice.
I had a base working...wanted to have a drop-down menu and finally found ARI Ext Menu. Installed it and it worked great...just what I needed...this I did some weeks ago!!
On monday I added some new articles and then went to add new menu sub items with type 'Single Article' and a valid 'selected' article, for them. I then tested and found that no new entries would ever show up in the drop-down menu. Only the original menu sub items are showing up in the 'pulldown' of the topmenu.
I tried many different things to get this to work.....but, in short, no new submenu changes are working now anywhere on the pulldown. Maybe, I am missing something basic, but I just cannot see it.....
Any idea what could cause this...some setting in the Ari Ext Menu? I looked...found nothing.
Incidentally, if I go to Administration Menu Items for TopMenu, I see that the tree does not even show the newly added menu items there; however, if I limit (option at the top) the Menu Items to the relevant Parent 'topic' Menu item...the new Menu sub Items show up. They all show up as published. I attached snapshots.
In comparing the initial menu items versus the new menu items...I see no discerning differences.
Just in case...I thought to check with you. Any ideas? Thank you
