I am trying to display the title (!) of an image on the lightbox overlay.

However, the title I set is NOT used.

Instead the caption (!) is used, which is not ideal because the caption is also displayed on the page itself which I don't want.

Sorry for the delayed answer.

Example A – a page with an image gallery (standard WP):
www.pfarre-mn.at/wallfahrtskirche/bilder/

Here the file name is displayed ("smart title"), not the title.

Example B – a page with a single image:
www.pfarre-mn.at/wallfahrtskirche/entstehungssage/

Here the caption is displayed, not the title.

Of course I made sure, that there actually is a title present on all images.

Settings:
• Get title from EXIF data = no
• Convert file name to title = yes
• Smart title = yes

When I change "Convert file name to title = no" then Example A displayes nothing, Example B remains unchanged.

Update the plugin to the latest version (1.6.11). It should help to fix the problem.

Thank you, I will do and report back.

I have the "developer edition" and I put the api-key in the corresponding field, to enable auto-updating as it says in the description:
"API key is required to update the extension automatically. Copy it and insert on plugin settings page. After this the extension will check updates automatically and offer to install them."

However it seems it is not auto-updating nor do I get any message to install updates.

Am I missing something?

Perhaps some button to initiate update manually would be a useful addition for the paid versions?

Did you buy the plugin on our site or via Envato?
