I have just installed ARI Fancy Lightbox and really love the way it simply works with standard Wordpress Galleries and also how well it works on mobile devices.

Is there a gallery plugin that works well together with Fancy Lightbox to get a simple responsive gallery?

I have tried Responsive Gallery Grid, but can't get the images to open in Fancy Lightbox. Is there another plugin that displays perhaps a mosaic layout on standard screens and switches to a single grid layout on mobile devices and then opens up the images on Fancy Lightbox?

Open "ARI Fancy Lightbox -> Settings" page and check that "Images -> Convert links to images" parameter is enabled. If it doesn't help with integration with Responsive Gallery Grid, could you provide a link to a page with the gallery?

The 'Convert links to images' parameter is enabled, but the images don't open in Fancy Lightbox.

Ok, what I wrote below didn't actually work, it switches the whole gallery layout back to the native Wordpress layout.



I have just found the solution, one simply needs to append the parameter [type = "native"] into the gallery shortcode.

The shortcode for my sample gallery now looks like this:

[gallery link="file" ids="17,31,26,25,19,36,35" type="native"]

It seems the lightbox is working now. You can populate "Integration -> Images -> Custom grouping selectors" parameter on "ARI Fancy Lightbox -> Settings" page to enable navigation:
