External Links - Plugin Question or Idea? 1 Year, 11 Months ago Karma: 0
I have been looking for a zoomable lightbox/pop-up for years and yours is the best! - (I tried to leave a review at wordpress.org but my palemoon browser doesn't work with the flashy comments system)

I just discovered the "convert links" setting which can be a great work saver for me. I created this page to access TXT documents that have been archived for over 20 years, this is the perfect tool to access them.

Unfortunately now all external links on the site open in a lightbox.

I found the "no-lightbox CSS class" in your documentation, and that will work perfect on a new site I am developing.

But, for this existing site do you have a class I can add to new external links to open them in the lightbox while the "convert links" selector is off in the settings?

Thank you so much for creating this software.
Randy

Reading the Docs further, it seems the "Pro" option "Open links with target="_blank" attribute" would give more choices, but I still don't believe I could achieve my goal, which is "Some" external links in lightbox, since all my external links have the added the parameter target="_blank" now.

Working further on the two sites in question, now I am trying to open "some" internal links, so the target="_blank" parameter would work on those.

Try this solution.

Thank you very much for the response. I had seen that post and considered trying that.

But, I ended up going through the site adding the "no-lightbox CSS class" to each link, it wasn't that bad, maybe easier than listing all the domains in that ignoreSites = function.

Anyway again thank you so much for your great plugin! With the new non-profit site I am working on I will add the class as I go. :o)
