PDF popup empty with file origin error

PDF popup empty with file origin error 1 Year, 8 Months ago Karma: 0
The pdf popup is empty and an error message pops up:

PDF.js v2.4.456 (build: 228a591c)
Message: file origin does not match viewer's

- I tried deactivating and reactivating the plugin
- Reinstalling with clean installation (using your option in the settings)
- Deleting the pdf and reuploading it with the same name
- Deleting the pdf and reuploading it with a different name

Error persists. Please help.

Hello, thanks for the response.
This is now in a production environment but I can provide you with access via DM. It stopped working after I migrated the website from Local (the software to build a WP site locally) to WP Engine. It’s like the process broke this links or something, or the plug-in doesn’t work in a production environment? I’m not sure. Please advise on how to proceed.

This problem can occurs if PDF documents are located on another domain.
