Just purchased fancybox. It's working nice and easy as our site currently uses it in one remote link, very simply defined in the fancybox module.

But it's actually better to use fancybox in a few menu items and/or modules. That is, a user will click the menu items or modules, and some of them actually show different content/remote sites/etc in different fancy boxes separately.

What's the most simple and lightweight way to achieve that? Currently we've only installed mod_arifancybox.zip to keep things as simple as possible. We don't want to install any plugins that may not be uninstalled clean if they're no longer needed.

Hello,

"System - ARI Fancybox Anywhere" and "System - ARI Fancybox" plugins provide ability to use Fancybox in any Joomla! content (for example you can create links associated with fancybox in modules). Currently the extension doesn't provide easy way to associate menu items with the lightbox, this ability are provided by ARI Sexy Lightbox and ARI Colorbox extensions. We add this ability to "ARI Fancybox" too in a future release.

Sorry for the delay. "ARI Fancybox" v. 1.5.1 is ready and it contains "System - ARI Fancybox Links" plugin which provides ability to attach fancybox to links on a page.
