HI,
I would like to display a slideshow that contains horizontal AND vertical pictures.
The idea is to define a square slidshow area (something like 600*600) and to let Ari Slideshow resize images by keeping the original aspect ratio and to maximize the image size filling the slideshow area.
After some first tries, it seems the displayed images ratio depends only on the slideshow area size and not on the original image ratio...
Is there a way to do that?

Do you need this feature for local images (not for Flickr or Picasa)? If yes, we can add ability to resize images to specific viewport. Is it suitable for your needs?

Download and upgrade "ARI Image SlideShow" module and set "Choose source -> Images -> Create thumbnail method" parameter to "Resize", "Resize method" parameter to "Fit to viewport", "Generate thumbnails" parameter to "Yes" and "New width" and "New height" parameters to slider width and height.
