TOPIC: Module Assign - On all pages

Module Assign - On all pages 13 Years, 9 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi, from reading this forum I learned that Ari Image Slide must be set to "Module Assign - On all pages." But what if I don't want it assigned to every page? Is there a workaround for this?

Hello,

It is not necessary to assign it to all pages. The extensions works as standard Joomla! module, you can assign it only with needed pages.

Unless I assign it to all pages, it doesn't display. I only have this position assigned to the home page template, so it wasn't an issue -- until now. Now I'm trying to publish a page from a component and the Ari Image Slider is displaying on that page, which is a problem.

Any ideas?

I figure out a way to handle this. I just assigned a different template as the default. But this module does need to be assigned to all pages in order to work. Not sure why.

Probably you have set incorrect module position. Use this link that see all available module positions in active site template.

I'm having the same issues...sort of.

I use Advanced Module Manager but ARI image slider seems to ignore whatever parameters I set. It shows the slider globally regardless.

Am I doing something wrong? It came with the Pure White template and I followed the documentation to a tee.

I've tried it in the recommended module position and then experimented with various other module positions, there is no change.

Very nice component by the way. Classy and professional. Just not quite doing what I want it to do yet.
