Image slider in content? 13 Years, 5 Months ago Karma: 1
Hi,

I inteded to show pictures using Ari Image Slider within the content of a site. For this purpose I installed NoNuber's Modules AnyWhere, and tried to get Image Slider to work within an article. Unfortunately this didn't work out well. At NoNumber they say that picture sliders are known to have issues with Modules AnyWhere.

Now my question to you is: how can I have the functionality of your Image Slider within an article or other type of component (I make my own components as well).

Thanks, Frits

Hello,

You can use "Content - Load Module" standard Joomla! module. More information can be found here.

Works fine, thanks. Needs just some tweaking because the slider tends to cover the text which comes after it (below) in the article. I'd rather clear sufficient space using css but at the moment I just used some line breaks to clear the area.

I would like to show you but our hosting provider seems to be run into trouble all of a sudden. The server is down for 48 hours now and the provider does not answer phone calls or e-mails. And I heard of other clients whose sites are down as well.

So I cannot show you this problem at the moment and besides, we have some other priorities now...

Hope to be back soon,

Frits
