TOPIC: No fading animation

Hello, the Fade animation option does not appear to be working on my staging site. I have two ARI Image Sliders on a home page one of which is rotating through various customer logos. I have that set to Fade, but the logos just appear one after another with no fading animation. Other animation selections appear to work just fine.

I would appreciate any suggestions!

Hello,

This problem with your PNG images, it seems they contain transparent background so fade effect looks ugly.

Hi, all the logos in rotation have since been produced without transparency. However, for some reason, Chrome is not rendering the fade animation. AI would appreciate any suggestions. I am currently using Chrome 23.

Thanks!

At least "ARI Image Slider" module instance with ID = 10190 is loaded twice on the page. It seems one time it is loaded by "Modules Anywhere" application and second time in module position. It is incorrectly.

The main slider is loaded in a standard Joomla module position (ID #10175) while the logo rotation slider (ID #10190) created within a custom module position is loaded in an article via the {loadposition} shortcode. Unfortunately, I have to use this arrangement with the elements I have to work with and some permissions issues with using the Modules Anywhere plugin. It's unfortunate that Chrome can't render the fade animation here while Firefox & IE can.

Upon reviewing further, I see what you mean about slider ID #10190 having the javascript load twice. On the production server, I no longer have Module Anywhere loaded, so it might possibly work there. I will have to test further later. At least you were able to help pinpoint the likely issue cause.

Thanks,
Frank
