Hi, im new to Joomla so please explain the step by step process. I am currently running joomla 2.5.11


I have managed to put the mod_aricloudcarousel into the article position. I see the image rotating circle in the article but when i try to set the image path, no images appear.

For the image path, i navigated to Content > Media Manager > and chose the image path just above the CREATE A FOLDER button. eg (/home/asanzcqz/public_html/blackcap/images/sampledata/fruitshop). For other extensions that i use, i normally set the path in this way. I have also read the setup instruction and set the Load jQuery method to LOCAL COPY.

I have read countless threads on the topic of IMAGES NOT SHOWING but i cant seem to find the right answer. I have installed the latest version of mod_aricloudcarousel etc....

How to I setup the image path ?

1. Do i get the path from the Joomla admin area ? (Content, Media Manager, and choose the path specified below).

2. Do I get the correct path from my cpanel ?

If you want to show images from <joomla_directory>/blackcap/images/sampledata/fruitshop folder, set "Image path" parameter to the following value:


images/sampledata/fruitshop

I`ve done as you said. I copied the images/sampledata/fruitshop path, pasted it by the Image Path Box, still nothing showing. This is a test site so i don`t mind giving the login details: Username: admin / Password: ***

"ARI Image Slider" is not installed on your site. We see only "ARI Cloud Carousel", but it is configured incorrectly. "Image path" parameter is empty and module position is not selected.
