Hi! I can't find where I can choose the pictures to put on the ARI Slider Module. Is it "image path"? Unfortunately I try with a root link, like images/canada, but it says: JFolder: :files: The path is not a folder. Path: images/canada

Vertical pictures/solution 11 Years, 3 Months ago Karma: 0
Ok, path was wrong and I found a solution. However, I have another couple of questions:

1) is it possible to have small thumbnails under the main picture or just those on the buttons?

2) Horizontal pictures are well sized and proportionate. Vertical pictures are completely out of proportion. How can I fixt that, giving the same height to vertical and horizontal pictures? thanks?

Hello,

1. The extension can show thumbnails when mouse cursor is over navigation buttons.

2. The module is based on NivoSlider jQuery plugin and the plugin stretches images to slider width.

Hi,

Thank you very much for your answer. Is there any solution for vertical pictures, to let them adapt to the length or at least appear decent on the same slider? I do not really want to work on tons on pictures on photoshop to adapt to the width of the horizontal ones!

If you want to modify images and use the same width for all of them. Set "Use thumbnails" parameter to "Yes" and enter desired with in "Thumbnail width" parameter.

How will it solve the problem? Setting thumbnails changes the dimension of the image, but I will have the same problem again, this time with horizontal pictures! Is there any solution allowing vertical and horizontal pictures together?
