I have image slider installed, but it only shows a black box with a spinning wheel like it just can't find the file. If I click on the developer tools, it shows a 404 error for several .js files. But if I ftp into the folder, those files are exactly located where image slider is telling it to look.

My guess is that there is some different setup with the web host (Bluehost) as I installed it on a test site on cloudaccess.net and it worked fine.

Do you have any clue for my as to what I might need to change to get those JS files to be found?
Thanks
Becky

javascript and CSS files should be located in <joomla_directory>\modules\mod_ariimageslider\mod_ariimageslider\js\ folder.

Hi,
Thanks for checking into this. I believe the problem instead is something having to do with the hosting provider as I did get the extension to work correctly with no changes when I installed it on cloudaccess.net.

My guess is that there is something on the web host that is blocking those files from being able to be found. But I'm not sure where/how to look for what that may be.

See attached picture showing location of the files. I do really feel that it is something related to the host.

Thanks

404 HTTP error occurs if you try to load a file into a browser. It can be a problem with configuration in .htaccess file. Contact your site administrator or hosting support so they investigate and fix this problem.
