Hi,

I'm a new Ari Image Slider user.

Module installed well, dark windows is showed on my template with a permanent "in progress" status spinning in the middle, and no picture is displayed.
The debugger shows a "TypeError: $(...).nivoSlider is not a function" coming from the instanciated slider module, and nothing else.
Picture's folder seems correct ("images/sampledata" and associated pictures coming from the standard Joomla 3.4.8 installation).
Using Jquery 1.8.2.

What goes wrong ?

It looks like a problem with a site template or 3rd party extension. We can investigate the problem in more details if you provide a link to a page where the problem occurs.

Unfortunately my site is under construction and is not yet online.
Three questions :
- I'm using the basetemplate-joomla3 template ; is there any known pb with this extension related to this template ?
- Could I generate a report from firebug/inspector which could help ? If so, what kind of report ?
- I use the latest Joomla 3.x release of the slider (downloaded yesterday) in addition to Joomla 3.4.8. Is there a chance I for me to solve my pb by updating Joomla to 3.5.1 ?

Check that the site template doesn't load own copy of jQuery library and uses instance of jQuery which is loaded by Joomla!

Sorry, how can I do that ?

You can check HTML source of a page or use "Save page" option in browser's menu and send the saved HTML file to us by email.
