Images do not redirect or show description? 14 Years, 4 Months ago Karma: 0
I am unsure why but the images do not show descriptions or link to the sites we have set up in our .ini file.

Please give me an example of how to link 5 images to 5 sites with the exact way the file should be written, as I am not sure about the syntax. Also, I can show you the site or set up a temp pass for you.

The slider is, by the way, wonderful visually. I cannot wait to have it 100% functional. Thanks!

Hello,

If you provide temporary access to your Joomla! backend by email, we can creat sample INI file for the module. Just say from what folder you want to show images.

Hi,

A great module, thanks. I have the same problem. I want to make a gallery like "ACTIVITY GALLERY" on this website: www.drukpa.org/
If we click at the thumbnail/small image, it will show us the photos on a directory.

I think ARI Slider can do this, but I can't make the URL link & image title to work. If I set 'show navigation arrow' to YES, I just can click at the arrow to see the next image.

As I disable it (set to NO) , I can click at the image, but the URL link didn't work. It just show the same image with white background.

My INI file is like this:

[DESCRIPTION]
bread.jpg="This is a bread"
cherry.jpg="The cherry"
pears.jpg="Pears"
[LINK]
bread.jpg="www.google.com"
cherry.jpg="www.yahoo.com"
pears.jpg="www.youtube.com"

Even I change the file name to myslide.txt & call it from admin module area, it still didn't work ...

How to make the URL work ? My email: pedmajungne@gmail.com

Thanks.

Hello,

Do you place INI file to folder with images? If yes, could you provide temporary access by email to your Joomla! backend that we can investigate this issue?

ARI Soft

Hi,

Yes you're right. After moving the INI file to the folder where the images are, it works. Many thanks. Great module.

Best regards,
