Add the following CSS rules to a site template CSS file and clean browser's cache:

BODY .mb_overlay {opacity:0.5!important;z-index: 60000 !important;}
BODY #mb_gallery_ {z-index: 60001 !important;}

For example at the end of <joomla_directory>/templates/ardj_new/css/template.css file.
