Hi, First of all, thank you for such a great plugin and for the astounding support!

The delay: When I first click on an image in a "simple gallery" view, it takes A LONG TIME for that image to load (hangs on fade-over) then when it finally loads the large image, the navigation images (next, prev, play, close...) dont load for A WHILE.

I notice this "delay" happens when i clear the browser cache.

The thumbnail view in full screen (the row of thumbnails across the bottom) is not loading from generated thumbnails, it's loading scaled versions of the full image. Is this the way it should be? I have a feeling that it is trying to load full-sized versions of ALL of the images to display re-sized thumbnails across the bottom and this is causing the loading delay.

Is there a way to have it preload only 5 images ahead? instead of trying to load the ENTIRE gallery and causing a wait/delay?

Sorry for the delay. Currently the extension uses original images to create thumbnails navigation into the lightbox. We will improve this functionality in a future release.

Ok, Itʻs fine that it uses the original images to create thumbnails in the lightbox navigation, but iʻd like to only load 10 images ahead, NOT the entire gallery as it is causing an unreasonable delay in loading.

Could you give me a patch or instructions on which file to modify to make this fix (only load 10 image thumbnails ahead)?

The way this extension is built, it is unusable to new visitors to the website as the the delay is too long (it appears broken and users are complaining).

It is necessary to modify <joomla_directory>\modules\mod_ariprettyphoto\includes\js\jquery.prettyPhoto.min.js file.
