I don't need to mention what a great and usefull product ARI Quiz is, I think this is already known.

One feature that i hope will bee in future releases is a functionality to allow front end users to upload quizzes instead of giving every body access to the back end.
This would be of great benefit for community teaching sites.
This will allow users to upload their own quizzes and participate in the community and perhaps link this to alpha user points which will give users some incentive so they would add to the community.

I'm sorry but no i haven't found such a feature for joomla.
I haven't looked for a standalone quiz software.

Joomla! 1.6+ provides advanced ACL support and it is possible to create a new user group for backend users with limited access to quiz manage actions.
