I have bought this component which looks great from the description, but I have several questions not answered by the help file.

1) How does the results email get sent automatically on completing the quiz?
2) How can I include a Pass Certificate with the results email with the User name on and the date of passing?
3) How do I make Quiz 2 unavailable until they have done Quiz 1?
4) I want the users to do 4 parts of study each followed by a short quiz. Can the system report email automatically their total score and pass/fail on the total from the 4 quizzes?
5) Can I make users read certain articles before they do a quiz?

Find the answers below:

1) If you want to send results to the user who has passed a quiz, enable "Auto send mail" parameter in module settings. If you want to send letter to specific email(s), enter addresses in "Send Result To -> Email" parameter and choose mail template in "Send Result To -> Template" drop-down. Mail templates can be created in "Mail Templates" section on component backend.

2) Could you explain where it should be included?

3) It is possible with "ARI Quiz Learning Path" plugin. We will send it by email.

4, 5) Sorry, currently these are impossible, but you can submit feature request here.

2) When auto email results is sent I want certificate sent as well with user name and date passed on. I thought that was a feature of ARI Quiz, or am I confusing it with Joomla Quiz Deluxe?

Also which question type lets me have multiple correct answers e.g. answer 2 OR 3 is correct for full marks?

Text of letter which is sent automatically by the component based on "Text template". Some predefined variables can be used into "Text Template", like quiz name, end date and other. You can create text template which will be used as certificate.

You can use "Single Question" question type, choose one correct answer with help "Correct" radio button and for other set "% Score" to "100".

I can't find the place where I can define the recipient of an e-mail. Where are the settings and "auto-send" for the module? (3.8.4.)
