TOPIC: Migrate Quiz to new domain

Migrate Quiz to new domain 15 Years, 7 Months ago Karma: 0
I am having difficulty migrating ARI Quiz to a new domain.

Does anyone have "Dummies Guide" on how to export all the work I have done to ARI QUIZ on my old domain and then how to import into the NEW DOMAIN.

I tried just exporting the SQL database entries and importing them and I made no progress so there must be a trick.

Any help is most appreciated. I'm sure this must of been done by now so maybe I just need to be pointed to instructions somewhere.

If someone could help with what setting to put here in the SQL export in phpmyadmin, that would probably help.

Seeing how I am unable to post any screen shots on this forum I am providing a link to my forum that is tracking this issue

Hello,

If your 'ARI Quiz' on new domain don't contain any used data then you can delete all tables with prefix jos_ari on your new domain and after this import data from old database. It should work.

That did work... of course when I exported from my old domain I did not include:

jos_arigeneric....
jos_arilicense

but did include in the export everything that started with
jos_ariquiz

After the successful import of the .sql file (seeing how I dropped all the tables that started with jos_ari) I then reinstalled com_ariquiz and had to reinsert my license and everything is good.
