Hi

I am currently running V2.2.1 in legacy mode in joomla 1.5.22.

I want to upgrade to joomla 1.7 and trying to work out what I have to do with ARIQuiz.

It's good to see that ARIQuiz has been upgraded to run in 1.5 Native and 1.6 and 1.7. I have downloaded V2.10.0, which was sitting in my Member Area.

Questions:

1. Is V2.10.0 the latest version?

2. Can you confirm my licence covers using this latest version and that it's not just the demo version?

3. How should I upgrade: install V2.10.0 into joomla 1.5 first and then upgrade joomla to 1.7 or upgrade joomla to 1.7 first and then upgrade ARIQuiz?

Hello,

1. v. 2.10.0 is the latest version of "ARI Quiz".

2. "ARI Quiz" hasn't required license keys since v. 2.10.0 and you can install it.

3. Upgrade Joomla! and then install the latest version of the extension.

I now have a working joomla 1.7 website. I used jUpgrade, so it cloned my 1.5 site and the two are running side-by-side at the moment.

However, it didn't copy the ARIQuiz tables (jos_ariquiz*,jos_arigeneristemplate* and jos_arilicense) - should I copy them first and then install ARIQuiz 2.10.0 (bearing in mind the tables come from ARIQuiz 2.2.1) or install first and then copy the tables?

If you want to use data from previous Joomla! installation, it requires to copy these tables to J! 1.7 database.

Brilliant! Copied the tables, installed the ARIQuiz component, enabled the quiz and it all works perfectly.
