Hi,

I bought some time ago ariquiz, and i remember i could download download the new versions for 1 year. 1 year has passed, but i need to install ariquiz again. I entered in member area but there is only 1 file. i imagine it is the newest version.

I need to install ariquiz under a subdomain of the already registered (payed). Need to export the question bank and import it from the new site.

Could you tell me what i need to do?

I version i can install can be installed in joomla 2.5
?

Download "ARI Quiz" v. 2.10.1 from "Member Area". It is compatible with J! 2.5 and doesn't require a license key.

i done that. I installed it, exported the question bank from the older site. On the new site selected the export.xml file to import, clicked on the import button, but nothing happened.

If DB structure of the extension is different for an old and a new version, it is not possible to import data from an XML file. It is necessary to import it to the same version and then upgrade the component. BTW, if you want to move all data, you can upgrade the extension to the latest version, create an SQL dump for extension's tables and restore it on a new server.

i don't think the problem is that.

i created one question in question bank (in joomla 2.5) , then exported to xml file. then i removed the question from question bank. Then i tried to import and nothing happened in joomla 2,5. i tried to import the file in the old site and import was sucessfull.


Do you have any other idea?
