ARI Quiz as competition component 16 Years, 2 Months ago

Hello,
Thanks for the great component.
I am planning to purchase the component, but have two questions.
I would like to use it also as a tool for competition. To do this:
1) I prepare the quiz/competition
2) User takes the quiz/competition, enters his/her selections.
3) The selections are saved. There is an expiration time/date to take the quiz. After the expiration date/time, I input the answers; like a sports game score.
4) User then checks his/her answers to see the score.
I guess it should be fairly easy to add this feature. Could you add this feature, or assist me to do that?
And for my second question, also related to the first question, I would like to see the ranking/leader's board among all the users who taken/participated in the quiz/competition. Is it possible? Could you add this as a module, or assist me how to do that?
I am looking forward to your assistance, and very interested in purchasing the component.
Regards,
Sarper

Hello, we are glad that you are interested in our component, as far as your first question is concerned:
At first you create a quiz. Users pass it. When the expiration date runs out you can switch option 'Show full statistics' on. (You can see it on our demo site demo2.ari-soft.com/administrator/index.php). After switching this option on users will be able to see full statistics of every quiz passed.
As far as your second question is concerned:
You can use module 'ARI Quiz top results', which is included into the component.
Regards,
ARI Soft

Hello,
Thanks for answering the second question.
Regarding the first question; what I mean is, I need the users to make their choices to every question, BUT, there won't be any answers to them yet. Like, the question would be:
Who will win elections?
A) Obama
2) McCain
After the elections are over, I will put in the answer, then there will be result/rankings/etc.
Currently, ARI Quiz asks for a correct answer when I create a question. I need to create a question without declaring its answer.
Can I do that? How can I do that? Would be glad if you could assist.
Regards,
Sarper

Hello,
I am trying to find how to disable the 'Show full statistics' until I put in the correct answers, so that the users don't see what they have, yet. (and hopefully its not reflected to the leader board, too)
How can i disable/enable 'Show full statistics'? I couldn't find it under the administration.

Our quiz doesn't support this possibility. Quiz supports the version system. If you set the score after users pass it, scores will not affect passed test, they will value only for next tests.
