Dear Support,

We're using Joomla for a quite large portal and we have around 20 templates assigned to around 300 menu items.

Can we create different Joomla menu links to a specific quizzes and assign a Joomla template for it (so the specific quiz will appear in the choosen Joomla template component position) ?

It's not clear in the demo as the menu creation not available. Also couldn't find any info in the forum nor faq's (only link creation to a quiz not template).

Any help appreciated!

Do you mean Joomla! templates? If yes, then it requires extension for managing Joomla! templates, it doesn't work of ARI Quiz because ARI Quiz use for creating quiz system, not for managing Joomla! templates.

Thanks for the quick answer and clarification.

Than unfortunately we can't use this great component.

We're using jReviews, Mosets Tree, JXtended Finder and Labels and other commercial components...all of them support native J!1.5.x menu creation and than assigning Joomla templates to those menu items. We've wanted to switch from elearningforce/Joomplace Joomla Quiz Deluxe because we don't like it's structure/functions....but it also supports this so we need to stay with them for now

Is there a plan for native support for Joomla menu creation (where we can choose for example a specific quiz category or specific quiz linking AND than assign those menu items to Joomla templates) ?

Yes, we are going to add support of native Joomla! 1.5 menu creation in the nearest future. Regarding menu choosing, is it standard ability of Joomla! menu manager or it's feature provided by the components?

You can create menu items for quiz and quiz category pages through standard Joomla! menu item creation page and then choose necessary template for this menu item(s) since ARI Quiz v. 2.8.1.
