yes, I invested into this again. True, input fields are only disabled, if I have started the quiz, but didn't finish it. If I browse some other pages and go back to the quiz, fields are only then disabled. But once I click on the quiz the first time (i.e. after deleting cookies) fields are enabled. The quizzes on our page do not have the "can stop" option, therefore typically behaviour might be to not remember the user in that case, but it doesn't matter for us.

One other question: At the buttom of each question is always written: Question #{qIndex} of #{qCount}. Which values have to be set in the Backend of a quiz to make use of those two variables (or hiding this information if no valid qIndex and qCount can be displayed)?

If a user leaves quiz then in the next time when user try to start this quiz it will continue with the previous step.

Check, please, that #{qIndex} and #{qCount} don't contain space between '#' and '{' characters.
