Is it possible to zeroize top results?

My quiz will be alive during one month. During this month users can see for example TOP10 results.
At the end of the month I can see the winners. On first day of next month all the questions will be replaced with new ones. And the game starts from the beginning. So the top results should be dropped to zero when new game starts. (But past results should still stay in database and should be seen from backend).

How can this be done?

Hello,

It seems that the easiest way to do this, add filters by date. If it needs only for frontend, it requires new module which will show results for needed period. If it's necessary for backend too, it requires date filters on results page on the backend.

Ok, backend is not critical.
For now I need to show top results of current month and drop'em to zero at the end of the month. How to add filters by date, you're talking about?
