As a side note, I wanted to ask you what your take is on submitting patches to ARI_QUIZ.

I am the author of original com_quiz on Joomla, but could not continue with improving it (or moving it to Joomla 1.5) due to time constraints. But, I am pretty sure that I will add some functionality to ARI Quiz, and would love to submit that functionality back to you guys so that I won't need to maintain a diff and apply it every time you modify your component.

I had this very issue with Joomla 1.X, i.e. they did not have caching and performance was terrible, so I had to add caching on 1.0 which improved the performance 5-10 folds, but every upgrade was a nightmare for me. Likewise, every fix that I did for various components was a similar nightmare.


Is this possible?

Since ARI Quiz comes with obfuscated sources we don't accept patches.

Instead of this we can propose you to submit your ideas to ARI Quiz Feature Request topic.

Hello,

Result Scale feature is available with ARI Quiz 2.1.2. Administrator can set up ranges for scores of passing test. In accordance to these ranges text template, print template and mail template can be set.
