Hi,

I have joomla 1.5.15, ari quiz 2.9.8 and php 5.2.

I have just tried toupgrade to newest ari quiz version and ARI crashed... When I was trying to enter article with ARI quiz there was mess. So I installed once again 2.9.8 and now I cant open my website -> Http://www.PrzypadkiMedyczne.pl

What's going on? Pleeeease help any clues?

I found something like this in log:

ALERT - script tried to increase max_execution_time to 60 seconds which is invalid or above the allowed value

So, now I can write what happened:

1. I went to components -> instalator and wanted to override 2.9.8 ari quiz with newest. Did I make something wrong?
2. During sending files backend crashed and ari stopped working in frontend
3. I tried to upload once again. I received some errors and frontend was working but not properly - list of ari quiz was showing up instead of specified by id ari quiz.
4. So I installed old version once again to get back to old state... and frontend collapsed totally.

I have two important question:
1. Does it mean I can't install newest ari quiz version? How should I install it?
2. What happened to my website? It was total disaster ..

I tried to install it once again on my test version (from 2.9.8 to 3.3.11)
-> First I got server error -> I tried to install it once again and I have this:

Any clues?

Upgrade process is described here. Installer of the extension doesn't support ability to downgrade the extension to old version. If you want to restore previous version, it requires to restore database backup for previous version (we recommend to create a database backup before upgrade of the extension) and then install an old version of the extension.

About your latest post, it is only notice which are generated in Joomla! files. It is not related to "ARI Quiz" extension and it is not affected on extension's functionality.

Forget about downgrading - this was my mistake.

Now I am on joomla 1.5.14 and have ARI Quiz 2.9.8 and wanted to upgrade ari quiz to 3.3.11 any this is what happened ^^
I read upgrading manual and I did everything fine for first time.

How can I upgrade properly? What is the problem?

What exactly doesn't work after upgrade? Frontend part or backend part? If you use "ARI Quiz in Content" plugin for v. 2.9.8, it will not work for v. 3.0.0. "ARI Quiz in Content" author is no longer support the plugin so we created "ARI Quiz Anywhere" plugin for "ARI Quiz" v. 3.x.
