Hello,

on my development server, i've installed the trial of Ari Quiz awaiting the licensing for use on my live site. I am unable to get a quiz to work correctly on the Mac Platform. The quiz seems to run correctly on Windows XP Using IE 7, however the same site and quiz don't work on Mac using Safari 3.1 and Firefox.

my staging site is www.tccsdev.com/tslc - click on "quiz" in the top menu, then take the "Is a career in..." quiz. there's currently two questions. On the Mac platform, at Question 1, the page goes blank and stops loading. On windows, it correctly displays the question.

What might be causing this?

am also keen on the answer as cross browser is important.

( i.e. i'd like to know what causes it, is it FF or Safari or or the Gecko engine ).

There is a conflict with Tabs and Slides extension on your site. This third-party extension uses document.write JavaScript instruction that causes the problem.

We are working on the fix. The fix will contain the option to disable mambots (plugins) tags processing in question text. You will need to disable this option and this will solve the problem.

We are going to provide you with the fix in next couple of hours.

You may now download new version of the component in member area. It contains new "Parse plugin tag" option in quiz settings. Disabling this option will disallow question text to be processed with mambots (plugins) and should solve the issue.

Reinstalling the component will remain all quiz-related data untouched.
