Failed Hard disk - recovery of results? 10 Years, 8 Months ago Karma: 0
I had a catastrophic failure of a drive before my weekly backup completed. I was able to tar up much of the data using a recovery boot disk.

I have set up a temporary server, and imported the recovered Joomla database and reinstalled the Quiz Component. I can view the old results in the server. How can I dump those results from the old database and import them into my new installation?? I was able to Export and Import the questions, but I can't figure out how to transfer the old quiz results to the new server

Thanks

Hello,

It is possible to copy all tables with prefix "ariquiz" from backup to your new server and then install "ARI Quiz". In this case data from backup will be used by the extension.

Thank you, I'm not sure if I can do that anymore as I needed to get this up quickly, after the failure.

I have reinstalled the component on a new server, and imported the questions from a backup. The installation is fresh. All I would like to add are the results from the old server.

Is that possible without importing all the .sql dumps? Is there a single table that contains all the results? I would much rather only import the old results if possible.

Thank you

It is not possible to copy only results.
