I can set ACL within ARI Quiz but the default settings (in Joomla) do not save.

There is a user group created who has access just only to ARI Quiz component on the backend and if I login with that group I can see everything but cannot add categories, questions etc. When trying to set user permissions the script runs for a long time and does not save the settings at the end. I do not have this issue with other components so I suspect that it is a bug in ARI Quiz.

I use Joomla! 3.2.3 and PHP version 5.4.11

On what page do you try to set permissions? Could you provide a temporary access to your J! backend by email so we can investigate the problem?

Thanks, your support was really quick and your advice was correct. The solution took more time - amd some money - that my service provider changed the configuration and removd the mod_security limit for number of post parameters. Now it works fine.
