Hide question Explanation from front end. 10 Years, 4 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi,

I hope there is an easy way to do this.
Basically I need the explanation block to appear in the results only in the administrator side, and hidden in the front end.

Any Help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hello,

It requires modification of the extension.

Hi, Thanks for the reply.

Could you please point me in the right direction? I am thinking about evaluating the current user's permission group before rendering this part, in case of Admin then the section will be rendered otherwise it will be skipped.

Could you please list the file(s) I need to edit?

Thanks,
mabuhamad

See <joomla_directory>\components\com_ariquiz\assets\js\templates.js file. You can remove #{explanation} placeholder from "EXPLANATION" template and load another JS file with #{explanation} placeholder on backend.
