Switch a WYSIWYG editor to plain text mode and fix LaTeX expressions. It contains unnecessary HTML code which was added by the editor (probably you used copy-paste method or add some styles):

If you read my thread you would see that the text that you have referred to in the picture you posted was NOT created with LaTex but with MathType.

The quiz I was having problems with was the second quiz. I copied and pasted it in the original post;here it is again.

Question

Solve the simultaneous equations.

\(2x+3y=8\)

\(2x+y=4\)

Explanation

We begin by changing the ALL the signs on the bottom equations-

\(2x+3y=8\)

\(-2x-y=-4\)

\(0x+2y=4\)

\(2x=4\)

Dividing both sides by 2.

\(1x=2\)

Using the the first of the two equations only-

\(2x+3y=8\)

\(2x+6=8\)

\(2x=8-6v

\(2x=2\)

Dividing both sides by 2

\(1x=1\)


As you can see there is no extra code here.


Do you mean change the editor in 'Global Configuration'?

Switch your WYSIWYG editor to plain text mode (press "Toggle editor" button or click by "HTML" button in editor's toolbar) and you will see what we mean.

PS: You can change editor on "ARI Quiz -> Config" page. See "Editor" parameter.

Yes I opened it up and I see what you mean now. I don't know how the code got broken like that.

The only thing that doesn't work now is the newline commanad,

I tried both \\ and \newline and none work?
