I need some advice, how to structure my questions:

Let's say I want to create a quiz with 4 questions, 2 coming from politics and 2 from history.

My plan would be to create a bank category for politics and one for history.

Then I add at least 2 questions for each bank category.

Next step is creating a quiz, where 4 questions should be taken from pool.

After that I fill the pool. I can filter by history and by politics and add them all.

Problem: I don't know where I can enter the number of questions from which bank category.

Then I found question category! I created a question category called: "2-History & 2-politics" and entered 4 in question count.

There was a tab called "question pool": I chose 2 questions from bank category politics and then 2 from history.

Problem: Where in the quiz-creation-process can I choose, that question category "2-History & 2-politics" should be used?

Do I need the question category to get 2 questions from politics and 2 from history? I think I have not understood the system

Question Categories are linked with quiz!

Question categories are used into a quiz. For example you can create "History" and "Politics" question categories inside a quiz and assign quiz questions to appropriate question category. It is possible to use "Question count" parameter in question category settings to specify how many questions should be selected from this question category.

Question bank is used if you want to use the same questions in different quizzes.

One other point:

Is it possible to order questions coming from question bank by category?

Let's say I want 2 (random) politics questions first and then 2 (random) history questions.

It is possible. Create a question category inside a quiz, open "Question pool" tab on question category settings page and select bank categories and number of questions which want to select from bank categories.
