Has anyone made a Venn diagram of the relationship between Quizzes, Quiz Categories, Bank Categories, Question Categories and Question bank? I have read the documentation and can not get out of my own way on how the relationships work. I have used the quiz but it may not be the right way (I have a history of left handed threading). I can't be the first person to setup their own FCC (elements 8 and 9) sample test nor the CISSP sample questions at the end of the 8 domains from the book.

Quizzes belong to quiz categories, question categories belong to a quiz and they are used to separate questions by categories (it is possible to show results for each question category at the end of a quiz).

Bank categories are used split bank questions by topic (categories). It is possible to populate quizzes with bank questions (It is useful when the same questions are used in different quizzes).

I still don't think I am getting the full picture. So I attached one. Ari 1 and Ari 2 are two different views. 1 is from the reply you just sent to this and 2 is what I kind of think it looks like from the instructions.

"Question" is included to quizzes. "Bank question" is included to "Bank categories". Bank questions can be used as quiz questions.

Ok, here is another attempt using Dia.
dashed lines are where a question category is included in a quiz.

This is quite granular. I am guessing that a question bank can also be included in a quiz.

In question category settings possible to configure question pool. Select bank categories and number of questions which will be selected randomly from bank categories. The selected questions will belong to question category.
