HI,

I am using ARI quiz 2.9.3.

It usually takes 3-4 seconds to load the next question in any quiz. I get "Loading....Please wait" screen for these 3-4 seconds.


i believe it is ajax supported and should be immediately load the next question with in a fraction of second. My quizzes are time sensitive and the user feels that he/she is losing time because of my slow system.

Before you ask, i have a 2 MBPS broadband and can see youtube videos streaming without any interruption.

How to solve this issue ??

is there any additional plug-in kind of thing ? or , are there any special settings that need to be enabled ?

Could you provide temporary access to your Joomla! backend by email and link to page where we can see this issue that we can investigate it?

Thanks. Regarding your question, we have see delay in 1 - 3 seconds. It can depend on 'Parse Plugin Tag' parameter in quiz settings. This speed doesn't depend on your channel bandwidth, web server handles request and generates response and it takes a time. This time depends on server loading and powerful. We have created simple PHP file with the next code:



And rendering of this page takes 0.3 seconds. This is a simple code which is only show 'Test' message. When the component send AJAX request Joomla! does necessary initialization and security checks and handles AJAX request. This process takes about 0.6 - 0.8 seconds on your server. This time depends on server powerful, Joomla! system calls and the component calls.
