I am trying to import approximately 490 000 questions in via csv and it goes very slow. I even split the records up to do 20 000 at a time, but still it takes very long and bombs out. I did about 40 000 in one day (not sitting in front of import actually the whole time to immediately react when it terminates).

I now compiled a csv files to import directly into mysql in the proper field format according to the Question and questionversion table fields taking into account the auto-numbering and primary/foreign keys and asset number etc.

I tested it on 10 records and it is working nicely and I belief it will save me about 6 days of waiting for the import to be done through the component.

I only have one question if you don't mind. How do I generate the answer id in the #__ariquizquestionhversion.data field xml tag? e.g. answer id="5d80d96db51772.67485244"

id is generated with help uniqid() PHP function.
