Hello,

It seems the extension was updated incorrectly. v. 3.10.x is compatible with PHP 7/8 and doesn't generate such errors.

HI, when you say incorrectly, is there a set process? I thought I was just installing extension over the old one? Is it a PHP version issue do you think?

What version of the extension is installed now? We can investigate the problem if you can provide an access to your J! backend by email.

HI, AriQ V3.5.2 with PHP 5.6 - I can update the php but will break site temporarily. I have a backup so can revert site really easily once ive exported the DB tables

My intention is to try and move AriQ questions to a new J5 site (currently in sub folder) etc with minimum fuss.

You can avoid update of the extension on J! 2.5 site. Just copy the related DB tables from J! 2.5 site to J! 5 database (make sure a proper DB table prefix is used for the tables) and after this install the latest version of "ARI Quiz" extension on J! 5 site.

HI, just double checking - the very first response to this query told me I had to upgrade the old j2.5 sites AriQ to latest before copying the db tables to the new J5 site - if that isnt the case i will be pleased but can you confirm as there is conflicting advice.
