That did the trick. All works perfect now. Thank you! I just had to change the permissions to read/write access for the /administrator/components/com_ariquiz/cache/files/hotspot/ directory and it all works great now. Thank you!

I've had the same problem. I think there is a limitation regarding the image size. After I've downscaled an image to 1024x768 it worked ok (selected it from the image dropdown box). Anyway, I was expecting at least some errors on the frontend (e.g. image to large, format unsupported). Also, I couldn't find any error in the apache logs.
