Way to set the background within the iframe? 14 Years ago Karma: 0
I'm using the lightbox to display blog entries and need to set a background within the articles. The problem is that I have to do a tmpl=component so that only the article displays without all of the headers and other modules, which also strips out the styling.

I set a page class suffix for the section that is designated for the blogs but again the style get's stripped out so it doesn't work.

The only thing I can think of at this point is to actually set the style within the article tmpl file it's self but alas that won't work either as that will set the style on every article page.

Is there a way to specify a style within the article tmpl dependent on section?
Maybe an easier way to do this?

Hello,

If you want to define specific styles for component view (tmpl=component variable), you can add it to component.php file in site template folder. If it site template doesn't contain this file, Joomla! uses component.php file from <joomla_dir>/templates/system/ folder. In this case you can copy this file from "system" folder to your site template folder and add necessary styles to this file.

Ahh excellent idea, can I specify the style according to page class suffix there so it doesn't apply to all articles?

You can create file with CSS styles, load it into component.php and specify CSS styles for necessary CSS classes (based on your page CSS class).
