L.S.,

I found your solution to show the lightbox on entering the site. Is it possible to have it When a visitor LEAVES as well?
I ask this, because I want my visitors to fill out a small questionaire, bur don't want to bother them when they enter the site for the first time.
I think it might 'scare them off'
Next to that, I want to have their opinion after they have visited.

Hello,

Currently the extension doesn't provide this ability, but we will investigate possibility to add this feature and report about results soon.

Thanks for your very quick response.
I was affraid so. From your reply I gather that you understand what I mean and the reason why.
I'm looking forward to your idea's.
Meanwhile I'll try to figure something else out, which brings me to the next question.
Is there a way to 'connect' the 'auto open' to ONE specific page?
Perhaps I might catch visitors when they land on that page after having gone through the menu's..
I think about using our 'News' section.
I'll look into that by taking a closer look at the results of google analytics.
Presently I'm testing the lightbox on tje local machine.
the site I want it to use on is (dutch) www.detheeketel.nl

Regards
Herrie

"Auto open" feature can be used on specific page(s). For this create new instance of "ARI Sexy Lightbox" module (it can be done on "Extensions -> Module Manager" page on Joomla! backend with help "Copy" or "New" button), configure it, set "Menu Assignment -> Menus" parameter to "Select Menu Item(s) from the List" and choose necessary page(s) in "Menu Assignment -> Menu Selection" parameter.

Again my thanks for your short time response.
I'm going to try a few things with that information on my testlocation.
It sounds as if it might do for the time being, although it is very voluntary for visitors...

We have investigated possibility to implement the feature. It can be done with help "onbeforeunload" window event, but in this case when a user try to leave a page, standard alert message will be shown by a browser:

Code:

Are you sure you want to navigate away from this page?

... CUSTOM TEXT GOES HERE ...

Press OK to continue, or Cancel to stay on the current page.

And if a user clicks by "Cancel" button, lightbox will be shown, otherwise s/he leaves page.
