I think that might suit my needs. I only want to 'ask' the visitor if he or she is willing to participate.
So, Visitor leaves >>

(Which could include a remark what happens when "OK" clicked and where he / goes when "Cancel" clicked.

In The lightbox I could enter een text thqat the visitor is asked to participate in an short surevey..
(I have to find a way to make this friendly enough)

Perhaps more people are intersted in this solution.

We understand that standard confirmation box looks not pretty, but browsers and javascript doesn't provide ability to change it. If you have technical skill, you can read about "onbeforeunload" window event and find that currently it is only generic solution to show something before leaving page and stop navigation to another page. We will the feature to the extension within 24 hours and inform you about it.

I know that this box is the only solution, it shows up elsewhere as well.
I reaaly do appreaciate the fact that you took tis effort and even come with this feature.
For me, there is not such a great haste, but it is reaaly very nice to notice the work you do.
That just because some user had a 'silly' question.

We have updated the extension. New version of the module contains two new parameters: "Open on leaving page" and "Leaving message". Set "Open on leaving page" parameter to "Yes" or "Only once" that show lightbox when a user try to leave page. Download package of the extension in "Member Area" and upgrade "ARI Sexy Lightbox" module. Upgrade process doesn't require to uninstall the extension. Install new version over installed through standard Joomla! installation page.
