We need to see the problem because it can be a conflict with a 3rd party extension or site template styles. If you can't provide link to page, send page files of the page where the problem occurs by email. This process is described here.

Sorry, but I am not allowed to send out a copy.

Also Im not quite sure why you need my demo files (with jQuery UI dialog, not SexyLightbox) when a demo has already been posted by philiplocke which enables you to reproduce the error in IE8: 213.179.193.106/~lastleaf/index.php?option=com_content&view=frontpage&Itemid=27

philiplocke had reported about the problem with sexy lightbox and the problem caused by slider. Solution how to fix it can be found here. You have problem with another extension ("ARI JDialog" plugin from "ARI Smart Content" extension) and we suppose this is a conflict with a 3rd party extension or site template styles so we need to see a page with the problem that we can investigate it.

Sorry but thats not correct.

2) No Im not using any ari software, I even do not know what it is. Ive just having the same kind of issue with opacity and assuming its a very strange template style problem as the problem does only occur on some PCs. I searched fot the issue around the web and found this forum.
