I am new to the forum. I have read over numerous threads, but have not found the solution to my problem. I recently downloaded Ari Sexy Lightbox to integrate with Ari slider. I am not able to display youtube videos in the slider. Please advise. thank you.

Do you mean "ARI Image Slider" or "ARI Slider" extension? If you mean "ARI Image Slider", could you provide a CSV file which is used by "ARI Image Slider" to associate images with YouTube videos? Could you also provide a link to a page where we can see a slider?

I am using the Image Slider. This may sound dumb, but I thought i could just integrate the two, add in the url for the youtube video in the sexy lightbox remote content setttings, and it would play the video in the lightbox. I didnt know to associate a csv file. the website is www.askcharlesjohnson.com

Open "ARI Image Slider" module settings and see "Description" section please. It contains tutorial how to use the module and how to use an INI file to associate images with external links (it can be links to YouTube videos). In brief, if you want to integrate "ARI Image Slider" with "ARI Sexy Lightbox", install and enable "ARI Extensions" plugin (if you use J! 1.6+), install "ARI Sexy Lightbox" module, install, enable and configure "System - ARI Sexy Lightbox" plugin then set "Lightbox integration" parameter in "ARI Image Slider" module settings to "ARI Sexy Lightbox", create ariimageslider.ini file in folder with images with the next content:

thanks, I will read the tutorial, but I am still wondering why the Ari Sexy Lightbox has the option under remote content to input a url, which i did for youtube and simply have it play. When have Open on load clicked to yes, the youtube video plays. Is it possible just to have it play in the slider/lightbox area?? Thank you.

"Remove content" option is used when the lightbox is used separately. When "ARI Image Slider" is integrated with "ARI Sexy Lightbox" extension, "System - ARI Sexy Lightbox" plugin is used and it doesn't provide "Remote content" option.
