OK, I enabled the sexy lightbox plugin...

Go to this link which shows the page header (with the vivo slider) as it should show on most pages.

This is the only page with the carousel.

If you click on any of the other main menu links, the vivo slider does not appear (but it should).

This problem with implementation of your slider. It can't work properly when several jQuery instances are load on a page. You can contact slider developers so they fix this problem or disable jQuery loading in slider settings (if it provides this ability), disable jQuery loading in "ARI Sexy Lightbox" module/plugins and load jQuery library with help of a 3rd party plugin.

PS: We can help to implement the second solution if you provide a temporary access to your J! backend by email.

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. After a bit of research I found several Joomla plugin extensions that are designed for this purpose and now all my jquery dependent widgets are working.
