Using Joomla! 3.0.2, php 5.3.15, ARI Sexy Lightbox ver 1.10.4.

System - JU Load jQuery 2.5.6 (That's the only Jquery my system has installed).

I am able to get the lightbox to show as the default lightbox (coming down from the top) when I load it as a module. So I know the lightbox effect is working.

However on some of the pages I am using loadpositon to load the sexylightbox module, using the Sexy Lightbox's article option (using article ID) -- which is loading a page that also contains a loadposition which loads a webplayer.

I have used this method successfully in the past. But this time the player does not open in a lightbox. Instead it just goes to the article. No lightbox.

I am sure it is some setting in lightbox. How do I get the page to come down in a lightbox from the top -- instead of just switching browser pages and going going to the the page article as it is doing with my current sexylightbox settings.

Hello,

This problem with a 3rd party extension which removes jQuery including which is done by "ARI Sexy Lightbox" extension and loads jQuery library after "ARI Sexy Lightbox" javascript files.

Hmmm..

That explains this mystery.

Is there any way to figure out what third party extension is doing that, so I can possible disable it.

Are you familiar with this joomla extension, which apparently lets you be more selective with jquery. (It's a bit over my head, but I guess I could figure it out. It's called jQuery Easy....

Hi

I just installed that easy jquery and it worked!

Now the lightbox is showing.

Looks like it's fixed

The easyquery plugin has a bunch of features, but I just set the main one and it's working.

Apparently you can enable it on certain pages and disable it on others.

BUt in this case just insalling it and selecting "Enable jQuery" fixed it.

(I will see if this causes other conflicts, but so far so good!)
