I noticed that if i right-click on the link and open on other window/page the pdf opens, so it shoult nt be related to wrong path.

don't ask how but changing file name works.

Now all works properly.

I've been using the iframe links with percentages successfully for looks like about two years. Now, all of a sudden, they aren't working. On both Joomla! 2.5.28 and 3.6.2, the window opens, but it just flashes, the "stop" and "reload" icons on the browser flash. I can open the link in a new tab or window without a problem. I've upgraded to the latest version. I've tried changing my links from percentages to set widths and it doesn't help. I'm out of ideas! I've tried the links on both Chrome and Firefox with the same result, except with Firefox I have to close the browser to get the flashing to stop.

I disabled the page until I can fix the problem, but I've reactivated it so you can see what it's doing. It's the links on this page (which aren't for PDFs, but it's the same behavior).

Actually, making the change (eliminating the lightbox for PDFs) solved some problems that users were having with that configuration. For some reason, Apple device users were having problems. This solved those, so I'm just leaving it as it is. Thank you!
