I have been following these instructions that were posted on a different thread:

"If you want to create image gallery and display it in any Joomla! content, the most of easy way, install 'ARI Sexy Lightbox' module and 'System - ARI Sexy Lightbox Anywhere' plugin, then open module settings page, choose 'Image Gallery' type in 'Choose type' drop-down, configure other settings and save module. "

I have installed the above referenced module and plugin. But, when I go to configure the module, the settings do not include 'Image Gallery'. Instead, under ASEXYBOX_LABEL_CHOOSETYPE, I have a choice of:

IMGLIST
FLICKR
PICCASA
ICONTENT
RCONTENT
MODULE

So far, I have been playing with the settings provided for IMGLIST. But, I feel as if I'm stumbling around a bit. Am I choosing the correct option? If so, where should I place the path to the folder that contains my pictures? Any help would be appreciated.

Ok, I have it working in an Article using the 'System - ARI Sexy Lightbox Anywhere' plugin. I'm using the following code:

{arisexylightbox activeType="imglist" dir="images/pics1"}{/arisexylightbox}

Now, how can I turn on slideshow mode? There was another thread in this forum about this, but it didn't work.

Also... I'm using the black theme. The bottom of the popup window is not solid black, but is transparent, with the Prev and Next buttons overlaid. The demo shows a solid black frame around the popup window. Is there another option to change?

Hello,

It seems languages folders on your server doesn't have writable permissions. Fix it, please, the extension use standard Joomla! approach for internalization, but if languages folders don't have writable permission, installator can't install language files. Check the following folders:

<joomla_folder>/language/en-GB/

<joomla_folder>/administrator/language/en-GB/

Set writable permissions for these folders and re-install the module and the plugin. After this you can find documentation in 'Description' field on the module and the plugin settings pages. If you have any difficulties, you can provide temporary access to your Joomla! backend by email and we'll help you.

ARI Soft
