Problem with thumbnails 13 Years, 1 Month ago Karma: 0
Hello,

Again, thanks for your extensions, they are wonderful.

But today, I have a problem with the AriSlick gallery module.

I tried to use it in an article via loadposition, but thumbnails don't work...

I send you by mail the website where you can see the problem and an access to my backend site.

Little information : My website is hosted (I don't know if it is the appropriate translation...) by free.fr (it's a french ISP who provide a personal web page) and apparently, there is a lot of limitation. Specially if you try to use automatic thumbnails, when you specify the width of thumbnail, the website is down...

I hope you can help me...

Besides,

Do you have any idea how to center the gallery in my article ?
I used a table to do it, but it is not "pretty"...

Thanks !!

One last information which may be useful: I have to delete the "150" default value in "Thumbnail width" parameters to see my page. Otherwise, it sends me back an error...

Thanks !

Hello,

The extension can't generate thumbnails because PHP memory limit is exhausted. The problem could be resolved if it would possible to increase value of "memory_limit" PHP parameter, but it seems your hosting provider doesn't support this ability. We have corrected path to manually created thumbnails and now the extension works fine.

Thank you so much !!!

I tried a lot of things yesterday, but I did'nt successed...

Now, I saw on your demo website that thumbnails are in fixed positions. I read on another topic that it was because of the "cache mode" being used.
How to setup this cache mode ? And after enabling it, how to setup the fixed positions ?

Besides, the font (AR BERKLEY) in my Top Menu has changed since yesterday. Did you tried something on it ? It is perhaps my fault, but I want to be sure...

Thank you very much for your help !!!

One problem again:

The picture in landscape position is too big when I click on it. However, I choose the "Allow resize" option. The picture should fit my screen, no ?
The portraits position pictures are well resized...

Is it my fault or is it a bug ? How to fix it ?

Thanks ! (and sorry for all the questions...)
